they were boycotted economically and extermination.
despite all oppositions and harassment the PROPHET(PBUH)and his followers clung fast to their cherished creed.

As the PROPHET(PBUH)'s mission of spreading islam became wider and its sphere of influence expended the pagans of MAKKAH became more and more bitter in teasing and torturing him and his followers.indeed those oppressive offensive were so numerous,so diversified and so painful that one shudders even to visualize them,
they threatened to wage bloody battles against him.sieges were laid on the muslim from all sides.they were
boycotted economically and socially.
the idea was to make them disgustful of their faith or weaken them through physical torture and extermination.
Dispite all opposition and harassment the PROPHET(PBUH) and his followers clung fast to their cherished creed.
they faced the unbearable sitsation with characteristic courages and fortitude.
the enemy plans and projects of mental and physical torture could be classified under three main parts.
1-psychological offensive to defame and demoralize.
2-murderous conspiracy.
3-playing black magic and dreadful witchcraft.
In the whole history of mankind PROPHET(PBUH)'s person stands out conspicuously as one whose life was a perpetual target of all sorts of violent attackes.Again, our PROPHET(PBUH) is the only person who had narrow escape on all such deadly attempts at his life.
failing each time his enemies felt extreme frustration and frenzy.but they kept on chasing the man they wanted to kill by hook or crook.
Rather than surrendering to the oppressive atmosphere the muslim stood like a firm rock.
DEFAMING THE PROPHET(PBUH)...
They conspired to defame and blackmail our beloved in the vilest possible style.
they incited the makkan masses and miscreants to undo PROPHET(PBUH)'s widespread public image as a truthful person.
He was insulted and ridiculed.
THEN ALLAHA(SWT) consoled him by the famous morale-boosting verse:
'O you who are enwrapped, rise and warm'" (SURAH 74)
They tried to twisting PROPHET(PBUH)'s name .
ABU JAHL'S VULGARITY ...
one day abu jahl chanced to pass by the PROPHET(PBUH) near mount safa.
he taunted the PROPHET(PBUH) with his
characteristically vile vulgarity and venom.
In the TAIF CITY ,the infuriated gangs started to chase the PROPHET(PBUH) ,hurling abuses and stones at him.then when he was leaving the place in disgust the rascals flanked him on both sides of the street, abusing and stoning him all the way.
they chased the badly bleeding PROPHET(PBUH) for quite a long distance.
